Walk a Mile in Her Shoes ® started in 2001. It’s still going strong world-wide. Because of our commitment to supporting local groups and communities to educate their own groups and communities, we have never had a centralized or large staff. With the exception of event registration fees, any monies raised from a Walk Event went to the local Walk Event Beneficiary.

Beginning in 2023, we have no staff. We no longer require registration so we also have no income. Please keep this in mind if you contact us. Most information you need to organize is on this website. If you cannot find what you are looking for or if you still have questions, please contact Frank Baird, Walk Founder, at frankbaird@frankbaird.com. This is still a live project, but it lives with you, local organizers and communities, and everyone interested in a Walk Event being part of their overall efforts to engage men in ending men’s sexualized violence.
