WALK ORGANIZER'S AGREEMENT
Under NO circumstances may any individual, group or organization mount a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Event WITHOUT explicit permission in the form of a purchased Authorizing Ticket & License from Frank Baird, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, a Venture Humanity, Inc. through Eventbrite. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, the event, it's trademark and logos, are registered and protected by law from unauthorized use.
You will be issued an Authorizing Ticket & License upon receipt of payment. You are authorized to organize ONLY ONE Walk Event with ONE EVENT DATE (if your Walk Event date changes, you do not need to repurchase a ticket, just inform us of the original date and the new date). Any additional Walk Events you wish to organize must be individually purchased and authorized. Failure to obtain proper authorization constitutes a violation of the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® trademarks and copyrights and is punishable by law.
There are no refunds for this ticket, even if your Walk Event is canceled by you or anyone else, including Frank Baird, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, a Venture Humanity, Inc. project.
You absolutely cannot change the name AT ALL. The name must be "Walk A Mile in Her Shoes®".
You may organize a Walk Event for awareness (community, campus-only or class-room experience) and/or to raise funds anywhere in the world except The Netherlands and within 60 miles of the Canadian cities identified in Exclusions.
You must include information about and/or by your Walk Beneficiary/Publicity Partner and their services in your publicity and at your Walk Event. We encourage you to have representatives from your Walk Beneficiary/Publicity Partner at your Walk Event and when talking with the public and press.
If you organize to raise funds, all net proceeds after organizing expenses from your Walk Event must go to the Walk Beneficiary/Publicity Partner. The Walk Beneficiary/Publicity Partner must be a rape crisis center, domestic violence shelter and/or other qualified organization or program that works toward stopping sexualized violence.
You are encouraged, but not obligated, to send any photographs, audio tapes or video tapes of your Walk Event to Frank Baird, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, a Venture Humanity, Inc. Project. You authorize Frank Baird, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, a Venture Humanity, Inc. Project free use of these media for any purposes in promotion of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, Walk Events and its causes.
In promoting and publicizing your Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Walk Event, you must adhere to the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Image and Identity Guidelines and all other publicity guidelines described on the website at www.walkamileinhershoes.org.
You must specifically mention www.walkamileinhershoes.org and the in all of your publicity. You must also include ® after “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” and ™ after “Put Yourself in Her Shoes” with every use of these phrases.
You agree to the Limited Uses of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Trademarks, Copyrights & Logos on any merchandise you do not purchase from the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Store.
You agree to the social networking, blog, website and other media guidelines described in the Limited Uses of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Trademarks, Copyrights & Logos.
You must submit a completed Post Walk Report to Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® within 30 days of completion of your Walk.
Failure to adhere to any of the conditions of this Organizer's Agreement will result in Frank Baird, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, a Venture Humanity, Inc. Project rescinding permission for you to organize and hold a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Event.
You acknowledge that all of the information you have provided in this application is true and accurate. You acknowledge that are duly authorized to act on behalf of the Walk Event Organizer and Walk Beneficiary/Publicity Partner. You acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to abide by the preceding terms and conditions.
You will agree to the terms of this Walk Organizer's Agreement when purchasing Authorizing Ticket & License.
